The certificate for sports fitness is issued by the Sports Physician, a professional with expertise in various areas such as pulmonology, cardiology, endocrinology, physiatry and orthopedics.

The Sports medical certificate for fitness for sports activities, which is issued following the examination, has Annual validity. As for the sports medical certificate for non-competitive activity, at the examination stage the patient undergoes a general checkup that includes the electrocardiogram at rest and the Blood pressure measurement.
