Molecular swabbing (PCR, Covid-19), also known as RT-PCR (Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction) swabbing, is the diagnostic test that allows in a relatively short time (maximum 36 hours after execution) to know whether Covid-19 infection is ongoing in the organism.
The molecular swab report is available in Italian and English, and the patient’s ID number can also be included in it.
There are no particular contraindications for performing molecular swabbing, but it is important to rely on experienced hands to limit the possibility of injury in the oral and nasal cavity.
The issuance of the Green Pass related to the molecular swab performed at Euromedica Assistance is independent of the medical center.
