Manual lymphatic drainage (also known as DLM or manual lymphatic drainage) is a massage technique that stimulates the reabsorption of subcutaneous fluids, making the skin healthier, more elastic, more toned and thus also more beautiful. In fact, manual lymphatic drainage speeds up the immune response, promotes the formation and spread of antibodies in the body, and acts on stress through the release of endorphins following treatment.
This type of manual lymphatic drainage is a specific treatment for patients who have undergone an oncological or orthopedic surgery as it is a manual lymphatic drainage that is performed on lymphedema (lymphatic accumulation). It is also recommended for patients with algodystrophy or rheumatologic diseases.
