In order to ensure the suitability of vessels that require obtaining or renewing a license (boating license), it is necessary for the patient to undergo a targeted medical examination to verify the basic psychophysical requirements essential for the intended activity.
During the examination for a boating license, the competent physician checks the general condition of the patient in addition to the patient’s visual and hearing abilities. In case the patient has particular medical conditions, it is advisable to bring along reports of previously performed examinations or specialized tests. At times, the Medical Officer in charge may require additional examinations or specialist examinations before issuing the certificate of fitness.

1) 1 passport photo;
2) ID and social security number;
3) 1 €16.00 revenue stamp;
4) Medical history certificate completed by the patient and delivered by the Facility (click here for download);
5) “Medical Certificate” form filled in by the patient and delivered by the Facility (click here for download).
