In order to ensure the suitability of vessels that require obtaining or renewing a license (boating license), it is necessary for the patient to undergo a targeted medical examination to verify the basic psychophysical requirements essential for the intended activity.

During the boating license renewal examination, the competent physician checks the patient’s general condition in addition to the patient’s visual and hearing abilities. In case the patient has particular medical conditions, it is advisable to bring along reports of previously performed examinations or specialized tests. At times, the Medical Officer in charge may require additional examinations or specialist examinations before issuing the certificate of fitness.

2) ID and social security number;
3) 1 €16.00 revenue stamp;
