A pulmonological examination is therefore recommended to monitor or diagnose or rule out disorders or diseases related to the lungs and bronchi. A pulmonological examination is also booked for sleep apnea, prolonged expectoration and/or with traces of blood, breathlessness at rest, difficulty breathing, chest pain (pain in the chest when coughing or breathing deeply), and shortness of breath .
