The physiotherapy, also known as physiokinesiotherapy o fkt, is a health profession that consists of the combination of manual and instrumental techniques and rehabilitative exercises aimed at recovering a patient’s physical state as a result of trauma, i.e., an event that has in some way damaged tissues (muscular, fascio-connective, bony, or nervous) or a particular pathology. The purpose of the physiotherapy is the rehabilitation of the patient i.e. the recovery by the patient of the proper functionality of his body through functional exercises.
In addition to the possibility of undertaking physiotherapy paths, Euromedica Assistance center offers its patients the possibility of sessions of osteopathy and massage therapy, manual techniques that enable the patient to derive different psychophysical benefits.
The osteopathy is in fact a manual technique based on the principle that “the body is a whole“, meaning that all parts of the body joined together by the connective tissue contribute synergistically to generate benefit for the body.
The massage therapy on the other hand, is a technique of manual therapy based on massage and aimed at recovery of muscle tone and to a consequent reduction of pain that allows this type of treatment to have beneficial effects on the psychological level as well.
